- 2 tbsp. All-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp. Butter
- 1 cup Milk
- ¼ cup Chicken broth
- 1 tbsp. White pepper
- ½ tbsp. Salt
Melt butter in a non-stick pan. Keep flame low
Add all-purpose flour, mix until it gets brown (approx 1 min)
Add milk, chicken broth, and whisk
Cook until mixture thickens
Add salt and pepper
- Add 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt to turn this gravy into vegetarian white pepper gravy.
- If your gravy is thick, then add more milk. You can also add chicken stock.
- If your gravy is thin, then simmer for more minutes until it thickens. More corn flour or flour does not work here.
- You can refrigerate this gravy for up to 7 days in an airtight jar.
