Swiss Steak Recipe
SwissSteak is 'a slice of round steak which is seasoned with flour and spices and braised or smothered in tomatoes, vegetables and herbs. It is also known as a smothered steak.

- 1 Pound cubed steak or round steak
- 1 tbsp. Black pepper
- 1 tbsp. Salt
- 3-4 Crush garlic
- 1 tbsp. Shirley Onion seasoning
- ¼ tbsp. Thyme
- ¼ tbsp. Crush oregano
- ¼ tbsp. Crush basil
- 2 tbsp. Olive oil
- 3 tbsp. Butter
- 1 cup Diced tomatoes
- 1 cup Tomato sauce
- 1 cup Water
Heat olive oil in a pressure cooker, add seasoned steak, cook for 2 minutes
Add crush garlic, rosemary leaves and butter
Removesteak and rest for some time
Mix Italian stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, and bring to a boil
Add diced onions and celery, mushrooms. Saut for 3 minutes
Add prepared steak, prepare sauce, Worcestershire sauce.
Set the covered pressure cook to cook on manual high for 25 minutes
- Pat dry steak with a paper towel before cooking. This step will enhance the natural flavor of the beef steak cut.
- You can also use red and green bell pepper slices while sauteing vegetables.
- You can also bake in the oven. Just simmer cooked steak and bake for 1 and 1/2 hours.
- It will taste like hamburgers steaks. Melt in the mouth, delicious, soft hamburgers steak is ready to enjoy.
