Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp. Smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher or sea salt

For Coating

  •  All-purpose flour 1 and 1/2 cups
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 2 Eggs
  • 4 tbsp. Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Chili sauce

For White Gravy

  • 2 tbsp. Flour
  • 2 tbsp. Butter
  • 1 cup Milk
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Onion Powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon White pepper

For Mashed Potatoes

  • 6 medium-sized russet potatoes
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Roasted garlic
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • ¼ cup Cream
  • ¼ teaspoon Crush black pepper
  •  Fresh chives for garnishing

Instructions
 

  • Prepare mashed potatoes first. In a large pot, add potatoes, water, and a chicken cube. It will enhance the flavor of potatoes. 
  • Cover the pot and cook until the potatoes get tender. Keep flame low.
    Drain water, put cooked potatoes back into a large pot. Keep flame low. Shake the pot to remove any moisture in the potatoes.
    Cook until potatoes are dry out. Transfer potatoes to a bowl. Mash with a fork or potato masher.
  • Melt butter in a small frypan.   Then, Stir in milk well. Add this milk mixture and roasted garlic to mashed potatoes and mix until smooth and creamy in texture.
  • Fold in cream and mix well. Sprinkle some salt and crush black pepper to taste.
  • Melt butter in a cast-iron skillet on medium heat.  Then, mix in flour and whisk with a spatula until it takes on the consistency like wet sand. Gradually add milk, stir continuously to avoid any lumps in the mixture. Cook until gravy thickens.
  • Mix all-purpose flour, baking powder, and some salt in another bowl mix, and set aside
    Add all spices to a bowl. Give a nice stir and set aside.
    Crack 2 eggs, pour milk, vinegar, soy sauce, chili sauce, and whisk until all well combined
  • Flatten ribeye steak with Mallet. It must be of 1/4-inch thickness. Buy certified Angus beef brand ribeye steak for best results.
    Rub steak spices onto steak on both sides. Leave for 15 minutes
  • Deluge steak in flour, then dip into egg and buttermilk mixture. Drip off the excess immediately. Then drudge back to the flour.
  • Press well so that flour sticks well to the steak. Then again, dip into the egg mixture.
    Do double coating for an extra crispy coating on the outside of ribeye steak
  • Repeat this method for coating remaining seasoned steaks.
    Refrigerate for 20 minutes before frying for the best results
  • Heat oil in a cast-iron skillet. Deep Fry until golden brown. It will take 2 minutes for each side. Place chicken fried steak on a paper towel.
    Finally, pour gravy on top of chicken fried steak and serve with roasted garlic mashed potatoes

Notes

  • You can also marinate ahead of your dinner and can fry the next day.
