Chicken Steak Fried

Finger-licking chicken fried steak burgers. Prepare with unique coating and burger sauce.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound cubed steak
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
  • Salt 1 teaspoon or as per taste

For Coating

  • 3 eggs whites

For Unique Burger Sauce

  • 2 tbsp.  Butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chop garlic
  • 1 Chop green onion
  •  Milk1 and 1/2 cup
  • 2 tbsp. Cream
  • 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon  Crushed black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon  Corn flour
  • 1 tbsp.  Water
  • 1 tbsp.  Vinegar
  •  Frozenwaffle fries 1 package.

 For Assembling Burgers

  •  Burger buns 3 toasted in butter from the cut side
  • Tomato ketchup 1/2 cup
  • Mayonnaise 1/2 cup
  • Satay cabbage 1 /2 cup
  •  Cheese slices 2

Instructions
 

Preparing Seasoned Flour

  • Add all spices in flour, mix and set aside

Tenderize Cube Steaks

  • Flatten cube steak with a mallet so that it can be shaped into a Pattie. It must be of 1/4-inch thickness. You can also buy pre tenderized cubed steak to save time.
  • Sprinkle some salt and black pepper, and rest for 5 minutes. Pat dry with the kitchen towel.

Satay Cabbage and Prepare Unique Burger Sauce

  • Melt butter in a pan. Add cabbage, some salt, pepper, and sauté until cabbage turn tender. It will take 5 minutes.
  • Discard from the pan. Add more butter, melt and Sauté chop garlic until it gets fragrant. Put in chop onions and cook until onions become soft.
  • Pour milk and add crush black pepper, salt. The mixture must be runny because cheese would thicken it.
  • Whisk in cheddar cheese until cheese melts and dissolves in the mixture well. You can also add Becan, mushrooms, or pepperoni at this stage.
    Turn off the heat. Set aside.

 Coating of Chicken Fried Steak

  • Dip, Cubed steak Pattie into the egg white, and drip off the excess into the bowl. Then drudge into the seasoned flour.
  • Press well to coat the steak well. Repeat the method and cover the remaining steaks.
     Refrigerate for 15 minutes before frying

Fry Waffle Fries

  • Meanwhile, fry the waffle fries. These are par-cooked, turn out extra crispy.
    Waffle fries are readily available at all grocery stores in the USA.
  • Just open the pack and fry them in a cast-iron skillet or air fryer until golden brown. It will take 2 minutes.

Frying of Chicken Fried Steak Pattie

  • Heat oil in a cast-iron skillet. Add cubed steaks, cook, and flip until golden brown.
    Keep flame low so that steak cook crispy from outside and juicy and tender from inside.
  • If you turn flame medium, then it would result in raw and soggy Chicken fried steak.
    So be careful with the right temperature during frying. Transfer fried chicken steak on a paper towel.

  • Spread ketchup on one bun and mayonnaise on another bun.
  • Place Chicken fried steak, Pattie, drizzle some burger sauce
  • Top with sautés cabbage. Put another Pattie
  • Drizzle some burger sauce again.

 

NOTE:

I added a cheese slice for an extra cheesy flavor. Then, cover with the 2nd part of the bun. Pour some sauce on waffle fries. Here you go. Enjoy!
